Custom Font Upload Agreement

Version 2026-09-30-v2

This agreement applies when you accept it and upload a custom font. Read it before uploading. It concerns custom font use, not a license to any font.

1. Your authority and license

You must own the font or hold permission covering every use you request through Interactive Image. You confirm that you can enter this agreement for yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent. Your permission must cover uploading to a third-party service, storage by our hosting providers, use in our editor, and delivery of the font to visitors through our embed pages, including the Interactive Image serving domain and each intended customer website. A purchase receipt, desktop license, subscription, or credit does not by itself establish these rights. Do not upload a font if its license prohibits this use or you are unsure of your permission.

2. Limited permission to operate your projects

You authorize Interactive Image and its service providers to store, copy, process for technical validation, and deliver the uploaded file solely to provide your requested font features and handle related support and rights complaints. You confirm that your license permits this authorization. Ownership remains with the rights holder. This permission does not authorize us to sell the font, offer it in a shared font library, or use it in our marketing. Pro provides hosting tools, not a font license.

3. Your continuing responsibilities

You are responsible for license fees, renewals, authorized domains, traffic or page-view limits, and other license restrictions. Supply accurate permission information and all required public attribution and license notices. Keep your proof of permission and provide it on reasonable request. Stop use and remove the font promptly if permission expires, is withdrawn, or no longer covers your use. The optional expiry control is a convenience and does not monitor or enforce every license condition.

4. Public previews and browser delivery

Our standalone preview links and public gallery pages substitute a system sample font for an uploaded custom font. The editor and embedded projects can still use the uploaded file. An embed displayed on your website is served through Interactive Image; it is not equivalent to hosting the font only on your own domain. Visitors can obtain font files delivered to their browsers. We do not provide copy protection, and disabling a font cannot recall previously downloaded copies. Upload and technical validation do not constitute license verification or approval.

5. Restrictions, complaints, and removal

Do not upload fonts without the required rights, remove required notices, evade licensing limits, or bypass a removal decision by re-uploading a disabled font. We may request supporting evidence and suspend or remove a font or restrict font-upload access when reasonably necessary to address suspected misuse, a rights complaint, or a legal obligation. Projects may then use a fallback font. Repeated infringement may result in account termination in appropriate circumstances. Rights concerns or disputed removals can be reported to Hello@interactiveimage.com with the project URL or font ID and supporting details. We will handle applicable legal notice and counter-notice rights as required by law.

6. Responsibility for third-party claims

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify Interactive Image for third-party claims, resulting damages, and reasonable legal costs to the extent caused by your breach of the font-rights confirmations or your unauthorized upload or use. This does not cover losses caused by Interactive Image’s own unauthorized use, negligence, or willful misconduct. We will give you prompt notice of a claim, reasonable cooperation, and a reasonable opportunity to participate in its defense. Neither party may settle a claim in a way that imposes an admission, payment, or other obligation on the other without that party’s written consent. Nothing in this agreement excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits a third-party rights holder’s legal rights.

7. Acceptance records

For each upload we record your account ID, acceptance time, the agreement version and wording, your confirmations, the file fingerprint, and the license information you supply. License references and acceptance records are private; the credit and license-notice fields are public. Removing a font disables delivery and removes its hosted file, but does not itself delete the associated acceptance record. We retain records for administering the service and resolving rights disputes, subject to applicable law. A later version of this agreement does not itself establish your acceptance of changed terms for an earlier upload.
